Accommodations were truly fantastic, the room was tastefully and comfortably furnished, and the location was convenient for getting around town and close to the station, dining options, and shopping. Both the traditional Japanese and Western breakfast options were delicious, filling, and promptly arrived to our door. The staff were accommodating and very kind, we will absolutely stay here again next time we are in Kyoto.

Luck You Kyoto offers accommodation in Kyoto. Free luggage storage is available. The rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. We just loved our stay at Luck You. Traveling for the first time in Japan as a family of 4 (with two younger kids aged 8 and 11) it was not easy finding ryokans and hotels that were suitable. But Luck You met and exceeded all our expectations. It was in a convenient and central location close to many restaurants and cafes. We booked the premier room that slept four and we found it to be large, light and clean. The futons were fun to sleep on (especially for the kids) and they reasonably comfortable (for futons!). You can ask for a second futon layer if you prefer the extra padding. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, and there were western and more traditional Japanese options. Where Luck You exceeded our expectations was the customer service - all staff members were very helpful and friendly and were happy to go above and beyond to make our stay a special one. We also appreciated the little charming touches in and around the ryokan such as the exquisite flower arrangements and the beautiful cotton kimonos and traditional clogs/slippers for use inside. And the kids loved the "Happy Hour" when they could make their own hot chocolates and sit in the ryokan lounge of an evening. In sum, Luck You was by far our best accommodation experience overall and it was a lovely gentle introduction to Japanese culture. We will definitely return.

A 1000 year-old Buddhist temple, Shukubo Koya-san Eko-in offers Japanese-style accommodation, a beautiful garden and free WiFi. The warmth and openness of the monks and staff, the clean and elegant interiors found in the entire property, delicious shojin ryori beautifully presented in the room, purposeful guided meditation in a beautiful hall, the ceremonies with the strong and beautiful voices of the monks - all of these combined made for an unforgettable stay at Ekoin. Meeting Nori, Se Shiu, and all the other monks was one of the highlights of our trip; they made us feel really welcome anytime we met and were happy to answer our questions with insight and thoughtfulness, making it look easy when in fact they were always busy with keeping things in order. They also guide guests during the Okunoin Cemetery night tours and imbue it with a lot of meaning.

Ubytovanie 高野山 宿坊 龍泉院 -Koyasan Shukubo Ryusenin- sa nachádza v destinácii Kójasan 39 km od miesta Kishi Station a má výhľad na záhradu. What a memorable stay and experience. The garden is gorgeous, the monks are incredibly nice and the food was delightful. We also enjoyed the morning ceremony. We only stayed for one night yet we will always cherish this memory. Thank you!

The location is very good, close to the cemetery and not far from the other temples. The dinner and breakfast were very good. It was very nice to see the ceremonies in the morning. Nice onsen to relax.

Set in Shirahama, within 200 metres of Shirahama Beach and 1.2 km of Ezura Beach, Shirahama no Yado Daigo offers free WiFi throughout the property. The hotel is run by a very friendly lady who tried to help in every way, the breakfast was very delicious and served ryokan-style. The room was super spacious. Amazing offer.

They helped us with luggage transportation and helped clarify getting a gluten-free meal for the breakfast. The rooms were exactly as in the pictures and really comfortable. I would definitely recommend this Ryokan to anyone going to Kyoto. It is quite central so you can easily walk or take public transport to all the popular locations.
