Kamikochi Nishi-itoya Mountain lodge er staðsett 47 km frá Japan Ukiyo-e-safninu og býður upp á gistingu með svölum, garði og sameiginlegri setustofu. It's a beautiful ryokan. We got a room facing the river. The view from the balcony was totally chill n relaxing! Love it. I would stay here again for the view.

Located in the historical Shibu Onsen district, 渋温泉小石屋旅館 offers both private and dormitory-style guest rooms as well as an on-site restaurant where local dishes, wines and craft beers are available. Great location at the heart of ryokan alley, very hospitable hosts that can shuttle you from the Yudanaka Station to their place free of charge (prior reservation needed), nice cozy restaurant with kotatsu (very relevant when it is cold), comfortable ryokan with lots of space and a gas heater. The host was shinning and always smiling, it gave us good mood for two days. Also she helped us out with the reservation for the onsen and gave us a ride to that place and brought us back in an hour. Shibu Onsen Koishiya Ryokan are the best and we will definitely stay here if we ever come back to Japan again. ps we also left some chocolate from our country and asked them to pin it on their big wall in their cafe. we hope you liked the chocolate!

Boasting open-air hot spring baths, a heated indoor pool and beautiful Japanese gardens, Senjukaku offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation that has a historic charm. The hotel seems a bit dated, but it more than makes up with old school charm. A lot of effort was put into creating an exquisite experience showcasing Japanese food and culture. The special care put into preparing the rooms, onsen and even the manicured gardens will draw you to stay longer at such a welcoming hotel.it is no wonder the current Emperor and Empress of Japan have stayed there a few times! A bonus that the hotel is located about a 5min walk to the start of the snow monkey park! Thank you for your kind hospitality. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, and had fun wearing the specially prepared yutakas to walk around the hotel.

Hotel Fuki no Mori er í 20 mínútna akstursfjarlægð með ókeypis skutlu hótelsins frá JR Nagiso-lestarstöðinni. Gestir geta farið í göngutúr í garðinum eða á fallegu svæðunum í kringum hótelið. everything was 10! great place, clean, staff and food!

Yorozuya er í 7 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Yudanaka-lestarstöðinni og býður upp á heit hveraböð, heitan pott og herbergi í japönskum stíl með einkaverönd og sérbaðherbergi. everything was amazing and everyone was so nice 10/10

Oshi Ryokan er staðsett í aðeins 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá sögulega Togakushi-helgistaðnum. Það er hefðbundin gisting á friðsæla fjallasvæðinu, þar sem pílagrímar voru vanir að koma til móts við. Excellent location, very friendly staff and delicious food!

Kadowakikan er í 3 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Nozawa Onsen-skíðadvalarstaðnum og býður upp á beinan aðgang að skíðabrekkunum, heitt hverabað og ókeypis WiFi. Mr. Kadowakikan was super friendly and helpful. He picked us up and dropped us off at the shuttle bus stop. He helped us order rental ski/snowboard equipment to the hotel. The hotel's own onsen was very clean and more comfortable than the town's free onsens.

Tawaraya er í 5 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá Yudanaka-lestarstöðinni og býður upp á gistirými í japönskum stíl með ókeypis WiFi og flatskjá. I opted for the Kaiseki meal with my stay and it was largely very good. The room was comfortable and clean, and the location was very central to the station and bus stops to attractions like the Monkey Park. Staff were helpful and attentive, and the outdoor hot spring bath was beautiful and well maintained. It was on the pricier side but the value was also high.

Minshuku Miyama býður upp á gistirými í japönskum stíl með ókeypis Wi-Fi Interneti. Gestir geta slakað á í almenningsvarmaböðunum utandyra og farið í japanska Yukata-sloppa. The location was beautiful during the winter and despite the heavy snow outside the rooms were warm and comfortable, the onsen was relaxing and it was a 5 minute walk to get to the bus stop to the ski resort.
