He was welcoming us and also giving a lot of information about Oman. The place is very clean and the bed so comfortable!!! Every room has a personal toilet with shower (water is cold but under the stars and so refreshing).also every room has a USB plug to recharge your mobiles. They also provide you with all the things for the bathroom as towel, dental kit, shampoo etc. there only a few tends so not too many people. Dinner and breakfast as little buffet style:simple but very tasty. I like also that the tends are on the real dunes (some others are on a flat fake site). Better if you ask them to come to pick you up outside the desert as difficult to go by yourself.

I had this place and a couple others camps down to the wire, on which place I should stay at, in the end I chose this place. Once experiencing it I was happy with my decision. You get a more private experience at this place compared to others as there are are less tents and people, this goes a long way and you won't see this in the description or know this until you are there. Rashid goes out of his way to make your stay very enjoyable, like a true Omani. The other bonus that this place has over others is that its at the top of some of the highest dunes you can stay at; which is good because their is less dune climbing for you. PLUS driving up to the tents is so much fun in the rental (its not hard, just keep your momentum). Dune bashing was amazing and same with the camel ride. Thanks again Rashid.

The owner Said is super nice and welcoming, we had an amazing stay. The tents were very comfortable and there is a big dune next to it that is perfect to see the sunset/sunrise

Le Nomadic Desert Camp est situé à Al Wāşil. Un parking privé est disponible gratuitement sur place et un service de navette aéroport est assuré moyennant des frais supplémentaires. The camp is located not too close from the nearest village, offering an immersive desert experience. The tents are spacious, clean and nicely decorated and so is the dining area. The staff is helpful, kind and efficient and agreeing pick up was really easy. The buffet was generous with a good and tasty selection of food. The camp offers activities like camel riding and dune safari. We enjoyed both very much. The greatest plus of this camp is that, compared to other structures who might have more of a hotel feel, gives the travellers a authentic and close to nature experience. We would go back and we will recommend it to family and friends.

First of all we were completely alone in the middle of the beautiful omani desert: a unique experience! We loved the authenticity of the structure and of its owner, Humied (and the camels of course, the real bosses there). He is a very entertaining host: we ate together both at dinner and breakfast and we had the opportunity to talk a lot about Oman and its culture and traditions. The tent, the linens, the private external toilet were all very clean! PS: Unexpectedly, there was some sand in the tent, next time please provide us with a broom Humied 😉just joking of course 😜

Comfy tents and beds (on platforms), good food. Most importantly, it was quiet: far enough from other camps and city, only four tents in camp I think. So the desert night was quiet and perfect for star-gazing. This alone deserves their high reviews. But on top of that, Mr. Ali and his staff saved me with car trouble. Somehow, I lost my rental car keys... They helped me look everywhere. I was kicking myself and preparing myself for a delay of one or two days. But Mr. Ali located a car mechanic, and the mechanic made a new key (!) for a very reasonable price. I was back on the road in 90 minutes.

Situé à Al Ḩadd, à 2,2 km de la plage d'Al Hadd, le Ras Al Hadd Orchid propose des chambres climatisées avec connexion Wi-Fi gratuite ainsi que des services d'enregistrement et de départ rapides. It was a beautiful experience at Orchid Guest house, friendly staff, Lovely Owner and amazing vibe and energy. Highly recommended especially for guests that have furry friends with them. will be visiting soon definitely :)

Cadre exceptionnel, Khaled et Hamood sont très accueillants. Les tentes sont très grandes et confortables avec chacune d'une salle d'eau. Il n'y a que 4 tentes sur le camp ce qui permet de profiter pleinement du lieu. La nourriture proposée pour le dîner et le petit déjeuner était excellente et savoureuse.

Situé à 50 km de Wadi Bin Khalid, le SAFARI-Glamping propose un hébergement à Bidiyah, à 20 km dans le désert du village d'Al Hawaiyah. Safari Glamping a coché toutes les cases pour une nuit en famille en plein désert. Le lieu est incroyable, un peu en hauteur, très authentique. La cuisine était très bonne, locale et en quantité. La chambre possède toilette, douche et lavabo. Il y a tout le confort nécessaire pour une famille de 4 personnes. Le lieu est très calme et parfait pour découvrir le désert et regarder la voie lactée. Ahmed nous a emmené au camp dans son 4x4: nous avons eu droit à une session de pilotage dans les dunes. Ahmed est très accueillant et bienveillant.
