Situé à Bidiyah, le Moon Light Camp propose des hébergements avec un coin salon. Le camping dispose de chambres familiales. Génial ! Prise en charge au village (et dépose) est très pratique. Après 15 mn environ de route on oublie tout !! Paysages magnifiques au milieu des dunes. Nous avons opté pour la sortie 4x4 pour admirer le sunset, dégustation d'un bon thé et de pâtisserie. Puis on nous emmène voir une réserve de dromadaires, plein de bébés ! Dîner simple mais copieux assis sur des tapis et des coussins confortables. Fin de soirée autour d'un petit feu où l'on nous prépare un pain bédouin. Tout est magique ! La tente sur pilotis offre une vue merveilleuse et c'est très confortable. Les hôtes sont super accueillants et très attentionnés.

I had this place and a couple others camps down to the wire, on which place I should stay at, in the end I chose this place. Once experiencing it I was happy with my decision. You get a more private experience at this place compared to others as there are are less tents and people, this goes a long way and you won't see this in the description or know this until you are there. Rashid goes out of his way to make your stay very enjoyable, like a true Omani. The other bonus that this place has over others is that its at the top of some of the highest dunes you can stay at; which is good because their is less dune climbing for you. PLUS driving up to the tents is so much fun in the rental (its not hard, just keep your momentum). Dune bashing was amazing and same with the camel ride. Thanks again Rashid.

Said was extremely friendly and helpful. I changed my plan during the stay and he helped me get yo the bus station to go to Muscat. Camp was in a great location. Highly recommend!

Le Nomadic Desert Camp est situé à Al Wāşil. Un parking privé est disponible gratuitement sur place et un service de navette aéroport est assuré moyennant des frais supplémentaires. The camp is located not too close from the nearest village, offering an immersive desert experience. The tents are spacious, clean and nicely decorated and so is the dining area. The staff is helpful, kind and efficient and agreeing pick up was really easy. The buffet was generous with a good and tasty selection of food. The camp offers activities like camel riding and dune safari. We enjoyed both very much. The greatest plus of this camp is that, compared to other structures who might have more of a hotel feel, gives the travellers a authentic and close to nature experience. We would go back and we will recommend it to family and friends.

First of all we were completely alone in the middle of the beautiful omani desert: a unique experience! We loved the authenticity of the structure and of its owner, Humied (and the camels of course, the real bosses there). He is a very entertaining host: we ate together both at dinner and breakfast and we had the opportunity to talk a lot about Oman and its culture and traditions. The tent, the linens, the private external toilet were all very clean! PS: Unexpectedly, there was some sand in the tent, next time please provide us with a broom Humied 😉just joking of course 😜

Comfy tents and beds (on platforms), good food. Most importantly, it was quiet: far enough from other camps and city, only four tents in camp I think. So the desert night was quiet and perfect for star-gazing. This alone deserves their high reviews. But on top of that, Mr. Ali and his staff saved me with car trouble. Somehow, I lost my rental car keys... They helped me look everywhere. I was kicking myself and preparing myself for a delay of one or two days. But Mr. Ali located a car mechanic, and the mechanic made a new key (!) for a very reasonable price. I was back on the road in 90 minutes.

Tout, c'etait exceptionnel. L'endroit est magnifique, la tente est très confortable, les repas sont très bons, et surtout nous avons adoré la gentillesse d'Hamood ! C'est une magnifique expérience.

Situé à 50 km de Wadi Bin Khalid, le SAFARI-Glamping propose un hébergement à Bidiyah, à 20 km dans le désert du village d'Al Hawaiyah. A small camp with only three tents, and we were alone during 2 nights. Very nice place ,good food and Azim, our host, very friendly! Watch out! No hot water or electric socket

Situé à Shāhiq, l'Alsarmadi Desert Camp propose des hébergements avec un coin salon. Bénéficiant d'une sécurité toute la journée, cet établissement possède également une cheminée extérieure. L’emplacement est exceptionnel, au milieu de nul part, nous étions que 4 donc une tranquillité et un calme incroyables. La vue sur le désert est magique. Les repas sous forme de buffet, diversité et excellent. Literie très confortable. Toilette et douche en dehors de la tente mais individuels et propres.
