I loved our spacious room and big comfortable bed. My sister needed an accessible room as a wheelchair user and the staff changed this with no trouble at all. We loved the room top pool also.
We were close to the beach and enjoyed walking to the pier to watch the sun set!

We loved this place! The owners are a very sweet couple and they welcomed our dog as well. There are a lot of details made the stay a big difference, there’s fresh flowers and fruits in the room, a beach bag and everyday some small surprises.

Fantastic. Rooms are beautiful. Location superb only 100m walk to the beach. Breakfast with lots of choices. Parking for free in the nearby streets for max 2 hours with the blue card. The blue card is necessary I believe from 9 am to 9pm. I arrived after 9pm and left at 10am so I didn't have to pay anything for parking.

The hotel is well located with a short walk to the promenade and beach. The people were very friendly and helpful, especially with where to park the car safely. There is a main road and tram which passes by the hotel but it was not a problem. At night with the windows closed you did not hear anything. The hotel room was enough for the two of us.
Just 800 metres from the Blankenberge beaches lies Sabot D’Or, offering classic accommodation with box-spring beds and private bathrooms. It features an in-house restaurant and bar.

Blankenberge is Belgium’s most popular seaside resort and has a lively atmosphere day and night. Its prominent pier is the only one in the country and despite its long length, at low tide the North Sea recedes almost as far as its circular tip, exposing a wide stretch of sand.
In summer this golden resource becomes moulded into incredible works of art during the Sand Sculpture Festival, on a sheltered site opposite the Sea Life Centre Belgium.
More creatures live in the Serpentarium, just along the beachfront promenade from Blankenberge Casino. To either side are a host of high-rise buildings containing shops, restaurants and sea-view hotels and apartments on Booking.com.
To the south-west the promenade ends at the access channel to the large marina and the surrounding streets offer more accommodation options, some with their own swimming pool. All are near Blankenberge train station and a short drive from Zeebrugge Port, the arrival point of ferries from England. Its towering cranes can be spotted during a horseback ride on the beach or when cycling through the dunes.
The spire of St Anthony’s Church is another tall landmark, and the 17th-century town hall has one of the historic gables still visible between Blankenberge’s modern shops.

Blankenberge is for my family a special vacation destination. We like it due to the convenient transport, the train stops in the center of the city. The city is not big and has its charm, by walking it is possible to reach each attraction. The tram allows you to go to the other cities and towns located along the Belgian coast. Therefore, your trip can be even more attractive.

The beach is of exceptional quality and the beach promenade has a great amount of restaurants. The beach bars are good, although I didn't explore the nightlife too much. As a tourist, essentially any accomodation is very easily reachable from the central train station.
Generally, if one is just interested in a nice beach vacation, I'd say 3 days is good - however, since it is quite close to Brugges and also to Ghent, one could stay much longer for some sightseeing.

Nice beach and dunes allowing for a relaxing walk while enjoying fresh sea breeze and the landscape. Small, cosy shopping area with a good choice of nice restaurants. Not far away from another very nice city: Brugge. Blankenberge has also a small arbour.

Blankenberge is a very special place for me and my family.
Blankenberge is a very special place for me and my family. We like it very much and we go there every year, not bored at all. It is not a big town, more relaxed and charming. If someone likes it is possible to visit other places along the coast with a tram going from Knokke through Oostende to De Panne.

The view, the beach, the air, the market, the proximity to the centre of town and the station. Also, Bruges is very close by train and a must! We have not been disappointed by the restaurants. We would like to express our gratitude to the landlady of de Sleutel next-door who was incredibly helpful on our arrival putting herself out to make urgent phone calls for us. The food at de Sleutel was delicious and the service very effcient and pleasant!

It looks like a nice place during the summer holidays, the beach is extensive and it is a quite nice landscape. However, it is very windy during autumn. Also, the town is really quiet, most of the restaurants and cafes close very early (around 21:00), and not a lot of choices for activities, at least during this time of the year.
We stayed with the 4 of us (inluding 2 kids) for 4 days at Sweet Home. Collected the keys via a collect box (all good), the place is very well located, Blankenberge beach is just around the corner, a lot of resto's and bars in close proximity for dining options or food takeaway. Finding parking for the car might be a bit more challenging. The appartment itself was excellent. Small but lovely, and very clean plus those little things as a micro wave, nestle coffee machines with pads (!), nestle cacao for the kids etc etc....
Breakfast was an amazingly varied selection of food - I've never seen anything like that in Belgium yet. It was also very safe regarding COVID - lots of small individually packaged things - yoghurt, fruit, meat, fish pate or salad, scrambled egg with bacon, jam, small bottle of milk - simply amazing. Very central location. There is also a little garden, but I did not get to use it, as it was raining on the day I came. Receptionist/owner is friendly. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast room and the hall look nice.
We chose this hotel because it suited out budget. We were not expecting anything fancy - so whilst other people may score lower we felt we got what we paid for.
We used the hotel as a base to explore Bruges - the train station is only a 5 minute walk away.
In the summer if you are lucky enough to get a reservation the hotel has a fantastic location for the beach.
Very good value , staff has been good and helpful , breakfast was also good , there is a kettle in the room with some tea and coffee available . Lift and bar are available too , plus , The hotel is in a quite central position , as it's close to the beach , town center , train station and car park .
The hotel staff is friendly and hospitable. The premises and some of the appliances might be a bit old-fashioned but in general, it is a clean hotel. I was given a room on the 11th floor which provided panoramic views of the Northsea and the beach. The location is superb.
The hotel was spotless, staff was super professional and nice. They went above and beyond to make us happy. Also, breakfast was amazing ( lots of options and good service). Location was perfect too ( 10 mins walk to the beach). Would totally recommend !
Very nice, recently renovated apartment. Spacious and comfortable. Two full size bed rooms and large bathroom.
Perfect location for beach, restaurants and shopping. Pretty much anything you can think of is within walking distance.
Highly recommended.
Very lovely house, kind owners and super cute pets. We really enjoyed our time there. In a quiet neighbor but can still easily reach train station, central and beach. Will highly recommend this place to anyone who visit Blankenberge.
Very welcoming hosts, a lovely family-run B&B. Loved the bath in the London suite! Lots of personal touches, from bath bombs to welcome cake, and one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had.
