It is situated in a very nice green and quiet area. We spent 2 nights here and we could reach the d-day landing beaches easily, whilst having nice time to rest at the beautiful castle and its surroundings. As a matter of fact, we could do some nice walks around the castle, staying always on its premises. We had one dinner at the castle and it was really good and good value for money. I strongly recommend.

Very clean and comfortable accessible accommodation. Facilities were good for my wheelchair dependent husband. Lovely hosts and excellent breakfast. Very close and convenient to Bayeux.

This is an excellent hotel steeped in character. Sebastian and his brother were fantastic hosts. The town is currently undergoing major roadworks and it's a struggle to get round to the hotel. Sebastian sent me a map of how to get through and then when he heard our motorbikes he came out of the hotel and directed us through the barriers. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant, food and wine were excellent and good value. Service was second to none. I would definitely recommend and would definitely book again

Its location in a tiny and typical village far from the madding crowd makes for a very quiet stay, and it is but a few minutes drive to a restaurant (or an ATM, because the owner prefers cash). It is also possible to eat something on site, but the menu is limited. Breakfast is truly superb though. Very spacious, neat, cosy and tastefully decorated rooms, a large, tranquil - and equally tasteful - garden, an extremely enthusiastic host who talks at the rapid-fire speed we all know from the French movies, and his superbly lovely and friendly wife (who speaks at normal speed) will guarantee you’ll regret you did not book for a few days extra. The accommodation was very clean, the "ship's room" was full of nice details, you get the feeling that you are actually in the ship's cabin, which is handy when you are visiting the location for the Allied landings. The host gave us tips on what to see in the area of our travels. The breakfasts were excellent.
