The house was stunning and steeped in history. It was set in beautiful gardens with woodland at the rear. Plenty of seating in the garden. Our hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They were able to meet our dietary requirements (gluten free and dairy free) at breakfast. A very comfortable stay.

If you are looking for the quintessential English B&B stay, Stroud House is the place to stay. The cottage is charming and the bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. The breakfast area in the sun room has beautiful views of the garden. The breakfasts are delicious and Sarah is a great cook who puts a lot of effort into the preparation, such as the homemade granola and stewed fruit. Sarah is very friendly and welcoming. Freshwater is one of the more scenic areas to stay on the island.

Amanda was extremely welcoming and showed us around, and she answered our questions. The location was peaceful, and we enjoyed breakfast. The shower was lovely, and everything was clean throughout.

This is a lovely chalet in a great location for exploring the Isle of Wight. It is clean and decorated in a modern style. It's like a tardis and is actually much bigger and nicer on the inside than you think from the outside appearance. It would comfortably sleep 4 and the little extras like the coffee machine were much appreciated. We have stayed here twice and will no doubt be back again.
Situated 3.1 km from The Needles Old Battery, Promenade Apartment with own Beach Hut features accommodation with a garden, a private beach area and a kitchen for your convenience.

location was fabulous with the sea in front of the main bedroom and lounge windows, the sound of the waves and just watching the sea was very special. However, it was quiet which my husband and I really enjoyed but my son and daughter (in their 20's) would have preferred a little more in the way of a traditional bar being close by! The Waterfront restaurant was a very short walk (a few minutes) which was very good. Unfortunately the road to Colwell Bay was closed due to landslides. Jo our host was very good.

Very small, historic town, very olde world, friendly people, not over burdened with gift shops, lots of pubs in a small area. Most offering good traditional cooking. Like the castle, it's small but well kept. If you like fish and chips, they are wonderful from the blue crab.
Best pub, wheatshief, friendly, good beer, good food and dog friendly.

Yarmouth has a good hotel and some great restaurants. It is a ferry port for a rail-connected ferry to the mainland of England and has a good bus service to other parts of the Isle of Wight. It is surrounded by countryside with some good walks and pleasant beaches.

Lovely little town with great hotels, inns, restaurants and shops. Handy for sailing and boating people, but for landlubbers like me, too, with ferry from Lymington right in the town. Buses take you all over the island from the handy bus station. Lots of good walks.

Lovely little place. Great local facilities.
Lovely little place. Great local facilities. Easy access by road to rest of island. Beautiful coastal walks and interesting local history, especially Yarmouth Castle and Fort Victoria. Stunning sunsets from the pier
This is a well appointed, clean apartment. It contained all the mod cons in terms of cooking and washing/cleaning facilities. It was ideally situated for all the amenities, shops and restaurant/pubs in Yarmouth. PROVIDED you could park in the designated spaces you would not need to use a car, because the bus transport was only a very short walk away. Some nice walks are available close to hand too. If it wasn't for the parking we would most certainly think about booking again.
Lovely hotel, in a perfect location looking over the water with a beach club vibe. Staff were excellent and the food was good, the breakfast was the best part. We booked two rooms, the main room was lovely with a very comfortable bed but the room my three boys were in was a little small (Room 23) and looked directly into a roof only a few feet away which was a shame and one of the windows was broken, apart from that we had a fabulous stay. Would thoroughly recommend.
The owner is very welcoming and accommodating person. The house itself is very spacious and has everything we wanted. Location is amazing with few steps away from a very relaxing walk by the sea. Yarmouth is around 10mins walking away.
Beautiful, clean, well equipped cottage. Excellent location a short walk from Yarmouth with great views over the solent and the marshes behind. Very peaceful despite being on a main road hosts friendly but unobtrusive.
A very comfortable apartment in the centre of Yarmouth - close to the Ferry Terminal and marina. Lovely well equipped kitchen for those self catering. Very clean and well-maintained. Perfect for two or three nights.
It is in a nice location on its own campus, very quiet and tranquil. It is close to Yarmouth and you can walk from the house to local attractions. The property was very clean and the bed linen is high quality.
