Featuring a casino, a day spa and 20 bars and restaurants, The Darling at The Star is just 650 metres from Cockle Bay. The room was impeccably clean and neat. I liked the ultra-modern electrical “touch” switches, especially the electrical opening/closing of the curtains. Similarly, instead of a “Do Not Disturb” sign, there was a “Privacy” switch which lit up a small light outside the room for the housekeeping staff. I had to eat my own diet breakfast in my room and the hotel facilitated this by giving me plates and cutlery. The shower (handheld as well as rainfall) worked well. There is a food court servicing the three adjoining hotels and casino.

The room layout with the 2 bedrooms, living area and fully equipped kitchen was great and the view of Darling Harbour from the room was spectacular.

But otherwise we really enjoyed our stay

Well equipped facilities and friendly staff. Beautiful view of the Prymont bridge from our bedrooms and walkable distance to Darling harbour - 2 mins walk to the Prymont bridge. Westfield and QVB is just right around the corner and haymarket st is on the other corner.
