Offering a shared garden and city view, at 300 metres from Portobello Beach and 3 km from Arthurs Seat. EVERYTHING. Every last detail was perfect at this stay. The apartment was immaculate, clean, had everything you need, great location outside of the city centre. Could not have asked for anything better.

It was an amazing experience to stay at Straven Guesthouse. I felt at home, the bed was very comfortable and the room was beautiful and warm. Breakfast was a whole variety of delicious dishes, home made and beautiful. The sea front is only a few steps away and I enjoyed walking along the sea promenade to the cafés - and walking along the sea shore. I felt looked after and cared for by Sinead and Chris. We traveled 4000 miles to be with family for a holiday, and found ourselves very comfortable, with plenty of room, enjoying amazing views, and in a great location! The public bus was so easy to catch and take around, we absolutely made the most of our stay.

We had a lovely stay at the Beach house, it's in a great spot, right on the beachfront in Portobello which was such a treat. Two good sized double rooms with comfy beds, a bathroom with a huge walk in shower and a kitchen/living room space for hanging out in. Plus a lovely helpful host too! Thanks for having us ❤️

Same block as the beach... it doesn't get much better than that! Being in a first-floor flat was also good for us, and we were thrilled with all of the kid friendly amenities. The books, toys, kid potty seat, and indoor swing were all huge hits with our kids (4 and 2) and made our stay all the more pleasant.

It was really easy to keep clean, to park but we are out of high season, there was plenty of storage, plates, cups just everything we needed including a washing machine, fridge, freezer and clothing rack. The views are great too.
