The location is excellent as well, even though it's not as close to the center as Myeongdong for example, it's right on Hongdae which has many shops and restaurants, and it's a minute walk from the Hongik University subway station.

Location was very convenient. It was quiet even if there were restaurants around the hotel. Walking distance from the shopping street where you'll find good quality items for a decent price. Staff was friendly and helpful. They allowed luggage storage before the 3pm check in. Staff also spoke fluent English. Room was modern and clean.

Just a 3-minute walk from Hapjeong Subway Station (Line 2), Hotel The Designers Hongdae offers stylish accommodations with free WiFi and an Italian restaurant. I booked a suite for my boyfriend birthday and everything was perfect ! I was a bit worried as I reading other people comment about the cleanliness of the rooms, but our room was spotless, no funny smell, everything was fine. Plus we’ve got the exact room I asked for, with the bathtub next to the bed (room 1201). Perfect for a romantic night! The checking/out was fast with no problem.
