Good location, very friendly host, introduced very good eateries and even helped to book the restaurant. Very clean and comfortable room, easy parking nearby..

The Renaissance is housed in a 17th-century mansion in central Castres. It offers air-conditioned rooms with traditional and antique furnishings. Each room also has a private bathroom and TV. I found the description of this hotel so interesting that I decided to go out of my way to stay here instead of continuing on to Carcassone. I had a huge room in Renaissance style with so many features and special ornamentation from that era. It was like spending the night in a museum of decorative arts. The hotel staff speak perfect English and we're kind enough to bring my bags to the room. The location is easy to find with GPS. It's not a very large city and there's plenty of free parking within convenient walking distance although the hotel does offer valet parking for a fee. This overnight was one of the highlights of my trip.

Located in Rocamadour, Hotel Le Troubadour welcomes you in an old 17th-century farm renovated with a heated swimming pool. It is set in the heart of a large park. The property was very well maintained and it seems that they are putting a lot of effort to make every guest feel very comfortable.
