Ruapehu Country Lodge is situated alongside Waimarino Golf Course, and is just a 5-minute drive from Ohakune's town centre. Wanganui Airport is 1 hour and 15 minutes' drive away. Our hosts (Marie & Bernie) were super welcoming & friendly. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely recommend it

Plateau Lodge is located 15 minutes’ drive from UNESCO World Heritage listed Tongariro National Park, where guests can enjoy skiing, hiking, cycling and paddling activities. A daily, shuttle service is available hourly from 6:00 until 9:00 to the Tongariro Crossing & National park. Free parking is available. It’s a very lovely property to stay in, the beds are super comfy, the lounge is spacious. I had really bad blisters from a hike and couldn’t do much but spending the time in the lodge was great.

The nearest airport is Taupo Airport, 98 km from the lodge. I found it an amazing property! It's like a little house. I very much enjoyed the stay. The covered deck and the bush were really good.

Free WiFi is provided and free private parking is available on site. We had a great stay at Pukenui! The lodge is homely, has a great common space with a great kitchen and in a convenient location

Featuring amazing views of Mt Ruapehu, 2 hot tubs and a restaurant with a large deck area, Kings Ohakune is 2 minutes’ walk from Ohakune Station and 3 minutes' walk from the start of the Ohakune Mountain Road. Perfect location. Clean and tidy rooms. Nice and warm. The heater was already on for our arrival. Everything you need for a nice stay. Staff were so helpful and welcoming. Couldn't of asked for anything more!! The spa pools were fantastic!!
