The hotel is very modern and offers you all the facilities you would need. There is a nice restaurant downstairs that is convenient if your stay is short. The staff is nice and well trained. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is well proportioned.

Jacques was an exceptional host who was always available to answer questions and meet our needs. The hosts are a definite asset to the hotel. Cafe au lait and pastries at the Hotel du Palais and the view was a highlight!

Catering, polite, and attentive. Our labradoodle was treated like royalty as the hotel provided his very own doggy bed and a bowl. The bed was superb, our kids said eve the sofa couch is better than their bed at home😅. We had dinner at the restaurant and it certainly did not disappoint with all the reviews I've read. A must try. Kid friendly as well as they cater to whatever my kids "did not" eat😅😅. However, my oldest loves the bass n mussels.... And the desserts are to die for. Parking on site with a security guard on site. A real gem find. We will be returning hopefully soon to stay and explore the basque area.

Located in Guéthary, on the Basque Coast, Hôtel Briketenia is 38 km from San Sebastián and 12 km from Biarrit. It offers ocean views, a gastronomic restaurant and free WiFi access. The restaurant is out of this world with beautifully presented dishes and the tastes were sensational. Breakfast was a case of "less is more" because unlike many hotels, it didn't have a huge array of mass produced breakfast foods, but a choice selection of well thought out options, many of which were produced in-house, including the yoghurt (delicious) and jams/marmalades. Staff were always very pleasant and friendly.
