La amabilidad del dueño y del personal. El lugar estuvo siempre limpio, el desayuno era maravilloso y la ubicación es perfecta. Todo estuvo muy bien

The hotel is close to the beach. The level of service is personal , very welcoming and was outstanding . Nothing was too much trouble . The breakfast was made to order and was delicious. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was well placed for ease of access to all tourist sights and amenities ie castle,cathedral, shopping,cafes and restaurants as well as local transport. This beautiful building has kept and perhaps enhanced it's original grandeur. My room was very comfortable,spotlessly clean and all facilities within well catered for. Breakfast was a plentiful affair ,well presented and a full selection to satisfy everyone. I dined one evening in the PMW restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful of my meal. The staff in all areas also deserve a special mention who were all extremely friendly and professional

Within easy driving distance of Newcastle, Durham and Sunderland, the magnificent spectacle of Lumley Castle has dominated the County Durham landscape for over 630 years. We really enjoyed our stay and the atmosphere that characterises Lumley Castle. It was cozy and lovely. I would defined recommend staying in this place for a weekend getaway (especially during Christmas season). This castle is gorgeous and the staff was really kind. There is a wonderful bar, restaurant and breakfast room which are worth trying!
