The restoration of the century old property was done exceptionally well, from the intricate tile floors, to the custom wood work, and the perfectly mannered gardens, it’s an oasis of beauty.

It was the last leg on our 2 week trip with out 18 month old around Sri Lanka and certainly the highlight! So many thoughtful details such as a baby monitor set up in our room and placing us close to the action so we could allow Arthur to nap whilst we were by the pool! The food was insanely good and the tea factory tour was fascinating! The staff were all so accommodating and delightful with out son. He was so well looked after and became a huge fan of hoppers and roti! Neil and Farzana were fabulous hosts and made you feel at home instantly- when we arrived it felt more like arriving to a family party than a hotel! The rooms were lovely and the whole hotel has been decorated in such a thoughtful and tasteful manner. The spa was also brilliant- the complimentary foot massage on arrival was very welcome after a long drive! Would highly recommend to anyone, especially as its only just over 2 hours from the airport so makes an ideal place to get over jetlag or top off a trip!

Aia, tasuta privaatse parkla ja terrassiga Elepath Lodge- Pinnawala asub Pinnawalas, 34 km kaugusel Kandy kuninglikust botaanikaaiast. Omg what an absolute gem, our favourite accommodation of the whole trip, we had a balcony view of the street so we could see the elephants walking by to go to the river, the room was amazing, big comfy bed, good air con, massive bathroom and it was so spacious. Didn't try the food but you can dine on a balcony overlooking the street also. Staff are really nice as well, there were some young lads working there this week they helped us with our bags and directions to our next destination, can't remember there names but they are a credit to the business
