The staff here are exceptionally good - the whole place is run by a very small team who seem to work very long hours but are always friendly, helpful and smiling. They somehow manage to keep everything spotlessly clean, make delicious food, organise trips and deal with any issues, and still have time for friendly chats with guests. I hope the owners appreciate what a fantastic and hardworking team they are, the hotel wouldn't nearly as good without them. This is an excellent place to stay for visiting both Udawalawe and Lunugamvehera national parks. We asked the hotel in advance if they could arrange these safaris for us and they sorted it all out at the price I'd have expected to pay. They also arranged for transport between the hotel and both our previous and our next destinations for a reasonable price. The food here is excellent - make sure you have the curry and rice, and the Sri Lankan breakfast (request them in advance as they need time to make them). The room was clean and very comfortable, with plenty of space and all the facilities we needed. It has a good view to the back of the hotel where you can see lots of birds, including some resident peacocks. It's very quiet in the rooms, you can't hear any noise from the road and there's good soundproofing between rooms. The small swimming pool was clean and had a few sun loungers around it.

Very helpful host, very comfortable cabins, peaceful surroundings. The food was among the best that we've had in Sri Lanka! And the safari was also very well organized with a great guide. We would have stayed longer if we could :)

Te organizan el safari al precio standard, pero no hay compromiso alguno. También nos organizaron transporte a muy buen precio. El desayuno riquísimo. Sin duda el mejor alojamiento que hemos encontrado en 3 semanas en Sri Lanka.

Alojamiento precioso en un entorno maravilloso. Habitación enorme (más que una habitación resultó ser una villa a la que no le faltaba de nada). Personal tremendamente amable, sonriente y siempre dispuesto a ayudar y a hacer agradable la estancia. Cocina muy buena, desayuno estupendo. A escasos 10 minutos de la entrada al Parque Nacional de Udawalawe, donde se puede ir de safari (ellos mismos se encargaron de contratarnos la actividad). ¡Totalmente recomendable!

One of the highlights of my stay was witnessing the sheer joy on my kids' faces as they splashed around in the pool and explored the hotel grounds. The family-friendly atmosphere of OwinRich made our vacation truly memorable. Moreover, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic experience. They even arranged a safari to Udawalawe National Park for us at the best price possible, allowing us to marvel at Sri Lanka's incredible wildlife. Overall, I can't recommend OwinRich highly enough. Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or solo, this hotel offers everything you could possibly need for a perfect getaway. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

River View Safari Cottage. Está en Udawalawe, a 19 km de Parque nacional Udawalawe, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis, terraza y restaurante. A great area in front of the beautiful river. Good value for money, dinner was very good!! And the staff is very friendly. The beds are comfortable and the room is very clean! We took a safari with them and it was great. Totally recommend it

Excellent and reasonably priced food. Excellent service from staff. Booked our safari through them which was great and competitively priced.

The staff was so kind and helpful. They arranged a 7 hour safari for me, with Amila. It was INCREDIBLE! I highly recommend paying the extra money for the longer safari, and if you can, book with Amila. He was so knowledgeable about the animals and birds and really took time out on roads in the national park with almost no other jeeps. The room was clean, the food was delicious, the setting was peaceful, and the grounds were lovely. What a great price for an great room!

The pool was clean and well maintained, as well as the outdoor area. The staff at the lobby were nice, we didn't have that much contact with the rest. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was quiet and the room is big enough.
