The property was exceptional. It had everything. The design and the detail were wonderful. The food was very good. The breakfast was a real treat. Try the prosciutto and cheese omelet so light and fluffy and good. The black pork tenderloin with mushrooms and asparagus was excellent as well at dinner. We were on the third floor overlooking the pool up high with a beautiful view of the rooftops and distant hills, the location is amazing. Having parking just down the hill was a bonus. The staff were young and all very helpful and excellent at their jobs. They had been well trained.

I chose this hotel to celebrate my birthday and it was a really great choice! The staff was very friendly, I had a room with a beautiful view and it was clean and spacious. The restaurant inside the hotel was very good and the breakfast in the morning was varied and delicious. I also liked the free underground parking and free admission to the spa. Many hotels usually charge extra fee for these two options, but here no, it's nice. I will definitely be staying here again!

Allt var perfekt - rummet var bekvämt och rent. Fantastisk dusch och jättebra säng. Fanns också ett fint gym med utsikt över Alentejos vackra gröna landskap. Maten i restaurangen var också helt fantastisk, något av det godaste jag ätit. Hotellet ligger perfekt, mellan tågstationen, busstationen och Évora historiska stadskärna. Alltså gångavstånd till allt. Personalen på hotellet är också proffsiga och supertrevliga. Kommer tillbaka hit så snart jag kan igen.

What a delightful experience! The breakfast spread was both delicious and diverse, offering something for everyone. The highlight, of course, was the stunning beach - simply paradise. The path to the beach was a welcome shortcut, leading to a breathtaking beach that our family adored. Our kids had a blast at the pools, and there were plenty of free activities for them to enjoy. The shorter path to the beach added convenience to our stay, and we couldn't have asked for a better time. The ferry trip and dolphin watching were unforgettable. Despite some minor hiccups, we'd definitely return! There was even a foam party!!

Herdade Do Sobroso is an absolutely magical place. Nestled in the vineyards, it’s an idyllic and peaceful location for rest and relaxation. It was an excellent discovery and an experience that we will not forget. The starting highlight is Silvia, who gave us a very friendly welcoming and helped us with delight with our wishes. We had a wonderful sleep with no noises and excellent beds, including an extra proper bed, replacing a sofa bed. The space with the pool and the jacuzzi just made our experience unforgettable, with breathtaking views over the river and all the nature around. Pictures are very good but cannot show the sounds and smell of the little paradise there. It has a good big cooling fridge. Soap, shampoo and gel from Rituals. We discovered that some improvements in the house have been made which make some comments in Booking invalid. This shows to me the high focus on the customer and their willingness to improve. For instance, our house 1) had all the windows (6 windows) with inner wooden shutters that allow full dark, 2)the shower had a glass instead of a curtain, 3)the sofa bed was replaced by a proper wonderful bed. Breakfast is wonderful highlighting award-winning cheese, delicious fresh cheese, dried jam, freshly made scramble eggs at a very calm place. The view from hammock at the courtyard towards the orange field and the forest is amazing.

It is a great concept, beautiful location and surroundings. A lot of things to do, great indoor and outdoor pools. Wonderful breakfast delivered to your house. Both restaurants have amazing food and my kids loved eco pond full of frogs.

The setting is magical, surrounded by forest but not far from the sea. The accomodation is a series of cabin-like rooms a short walk into the main lobby/restaurant area. There is a desk & bar area & plenty of cupboard space. The bed & pillows were very comfortable, and the deck & the views to the gardens outside very peaceful. The grounds are beautiful, including a fully labelled herb and vegetable garden. There are 2 pool areas, one for kids which is also a great idea. Transport can be arranged by golf cart to and from the restaurant but we enjoyed the walk. The breakfast was excellent, huge range of choices, and the dinners too, although it was pretty pricey. There is a separate spa centre and its a 10 minute drive into Comporta.
