Signage on 5th floor was not good and it took us a while to find our room.

Fantastic location opposite Hatton Cross tube station (Piccadilly Line). Decent price through this platform. Staff were friendly but not very motivated. Swimming pool was great on a warm afternoon. Wifi and shower good.

At check-out I was refused my invoice on the basis that I had paid through booking app. I objected that this was not the case but I was still refused the invoice. As it was 6:30 AM and I was late for my flight I did not argue. Fortunately, I could get my invoice via e-mail from a very polite staff member of the Hotel sales dept. who I contacted in the afternoon. In the end all was fine but the reception staff in charge of check-out was totally unprofessional.

The decor needs updating, very dark colours except for the restaurant which was a sickly yellow. The lighting was terrible throughout the whole hotel, very dark entering the corridors until the lights went on. The door to our room needed to be slammed shut and the bed was like a rock. The cleaning and restaurant staff appeared to be under pressure and not happy, definitely not friendly towards us as guests. The corridor carpets were stained and in places looked like they had been thrown up on. There was a room service tray left outside a door we passed for the two nights we stayed there and in the morning we left it was still sitting outside the same room?? Although there was a good selection for breakfast some of it was cold in particular the sausages and bacon.

The location is perfect for the train and airport. The saving grace was the pool and gym facilities which were fantastic, the staff for these facilities were very friendly and the reception staff were also very welcoming. Liked that there was air conditioning in the room other wise it would have been stuffy. The room was clean and tidy. Large selection for breakfast.

Coffee at the breakfast and breakfast itself was not good. Coffee taste was very bad - instant coffee from a machine. Don’t drink it! I was also charged for a car being parked there overnight 24h rate even tho I was their guest. So if I was staying one week or 10 days I would have to pay around £170 just for parking.

Convenient to the tube station (Hatton Cross). Value for money. Comfortable bed and pillows. Despite nearer Heathrow Airport, soundproofing is good. Helpful staff, especially Albert and Jasprit.

Asked for extra pillows, jug of water, cotbed but never got them. TV didn't work either. Waited nearly all day until tge room got cleaned even though I had requested this in the morning. Cleaning staff done speak English.

We paid £100 for the room for one night which, in London, is pretty amazing. My 7 year old child loved the swimming pool, although the changing rooms were a bit basic. The room was okay. If I was being picky, I’d mention the hairs on the mattress and in the bathroom. The mattress was very hard and the pillows soft. Not to my particular taste, but some people might like it that way. The restaurant food was acceptable but not enjoyable. Overly salted rice. Soup spoons for pudding. Very basic.

The elevator would not let us choose the first floor which was where our room was. We asked the staff at the desk the first time, (thinking we must be doing something wrong) ,when we had all our bags, and she used her ID to make the elevator work. But all the other time we had to take the stairs because it still didn’t work. It was only one floor so no big deal but a little frustrating, and would have been a problem for someone who couldn’t take the stairs.
