Gorgeous comfortable room with a sea view: going to sleep with the sound of the sea was wonderful. Very comfy bed too. Well situated on the sea front and in town. Thoughtful tea/coffee/biscuits/information pack in room. Excellent value for money.

The smell of curry! It was overpowering. Not sure if it was coming from the hotel kitchen or what but it was horrendous.

Simplicity of booking in and the view out the front is amazing.

My mattress was not the most comfortable and might have been on its way toward needing replacement, but I still managed to sleep well enough and everything else made up for it.

Nestled between a mountain and the beach it has a great location and was superbly easy to find and get to. The room itself was clean, tidy, warm, and welcoming. My son said the complementary hot chocolate was the best he's ever had, and I thought the toiletries smelled wonderful. I spoke to one staff member who I think may have been the owner and she was amazing. Friendly and helpful, you could tell that she genuinely cared about her guests. I was very happy with everything overall.

The water pressure in my shower was too low

The gentleman was nowhere as engaging as the lady, she was lovely. If he was connected to the property in terms of ownership I would strongly recommend he thinks about the impression he is creating for the reputation of the hotel. These first impressions matter.

Easy no fuss check in and pre-breakfast order. Large room with Queen size bed fluffy towels and excellent toiletries. Tea/Coffee making facilities TV and Wifi . Large private bathroom. Lots of clothes hanging space - we only stayed a night but very suitable for a longer stay Nice little welcome bag with bits and bobs. Owners very friendly and excellent breakfast ( and choices) Close to the main parade shops pubs and restaurants Ample free road parking

The only thing is not being able to open any windows to get ventilation because it's just a fire door and it can't be opened.

Owner and my room and the special care put into the personal touches to make it feel more comfortable. Every little thought was put into everything including the menu.

The bed was very comfortable but was two single beds together so the middle of the bed had a ridge that was uncomfortable to lie on. The vegetarian sausages weren’t the best but the rest of the breakfast was lovely. We had a view of the fire escape but for the price of the room, we can’t complain!

The hotel was right on the seafront so the location was amazing. £70 for two of us including breakfast was great for the area. The bed on the whole was comfortable and the breakfast was very filling and tasty. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful. The freebies left in our room were much appreciated and a nice touch!

I just about managed to find a free parking space nearby, but I'd imagine it could get quite busy in the summer. That said, there is a pay-and display right opposite. Quite steep stairs to some rooms, but would only be an issue for elderly/infirm.

Enjoyed a small but clean, comfortable, en-suite room with good beach and sea views. The room had everything you could need and was nice and quiet. Had a great breakfast in the morning that kept me going the whole day. Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all, excellent value.
