the property was well maintained, rooms very comfortable. we had one of the small suites. nothing fancy in the rooms but it certainly fit for an older home. My son loved the WW ll memorabilia, which is why we stayed here.

Room was very comfortable and came with everything needed for a short stay. The seaside town is beautiful and some of the rooms face the water. Staff was very helpful.

The house is perfectly situated in a quiet street, two minutes from the sea front, shops and restaurants. Arromanches is well placed in the middle of the D-day beaches and 15 mins drive from Bayeux. We opted for breakfast which was very good, including variously croissant, good bread, fresh fruit and yoghurt and even homemade crêpes. We would happily return.

Our hosts were truly charming people who knew when to chat and when to leave us to eat breakfast! Ah, breakfast! Delicious - with the finest homemade crèpes, all home produced jams, home made plum crumble, fresh fruit and juice. We would highly recommend le Clos and definitely return. It is as it’s name - the bells start at 07.00 with last rings at 22.00!!
